Hi All,
Further testing of the Intel Compute Stick STCK1A8LFC with the Kernel
4.19 shows that the last problem, bluetooth, has been fixed. Xubuntu
18.04 (kernel 4.15) running off a USB stick lacked just bluetooth, but
with the 4.19 kernel, and renaming the /lib/firmware/rtl_bt/rtlbt_fw
to rtl8723bs_fw.bin and the rtlbt_config renamed to
rtl8723bs_config-OBDA8723.bin, even bluetooth worked. 4.19 is a long
term support kernel, so even if the driver never gets back to the 4.15
kernel Xubuntu 18.04 uses, a fully working kernel will be available
for years. The former fully supported 4.4 kernel / release Ubuntu
16.04 is reaching end of support April 2019, so this is good news --
having both a long term support kernel and OS release.
Ken
