Hi LUGers,

   SF-LUG meets every third Monday from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
and every first Sunday from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.
at the Cafe Enchante, 26th and Geary Boulevard.

These meetings are usually lightly attended with a high for the
year so far of 7 members.   If you have a problem come along
and maybe we can help but if not we can usually find someone
who can.

Distributions freshly released: * indicated I have downloaded,
and check-summed
   Linuxfx 9.0,  Scientific Linux 7.5,
  *ubuntukylin-18.04-enhanced-i386.iso
*CentOS-7-x86_64-LiveKDE-1804.iso
*deepin-15.5-amd64.iso
*AntiX-17.1_x64-full.iso
crux-3.4.iso as well as stack of older versions.
*Porteus-KDE-v4.0-x86_64.iso
*Porteus-KDE-v4.0-i586.iso

*gparted-live-0.31.0-2-amd64.iso

I intend to have copies at the meeting on

the 21st of all the starred releases but if you see

something you want on Distrowatch.com and feel

your net connection is too slow or busy let me

know and I will try to get it for you.

I may have other fresh releases at the meeting

but this notice has to go out.

If you want a large distribution that

will not fit on a regular DVD then you should

get a flash drive of adequate size to

use with it and I will try to copy the iso

to that media at the meeting so that you

have a bootable media. Here I am specifically

thinking of the CentOS and Scientific Linux

which both have very large files available.

The current issue of the Distrowatch

newsletter contains a review of Fedora 28.

Hope you can make it to the meeting

a week from today.

Bobbie Sellers
