I remember several years ago having a HP NetBook which had a Broadcom card
in it which refused to play nice with Linux. I'd heard a wrapper had
finally been issued that dealt with this problem, since my current laptop
also has a Broadcom card in it. <snark> Glad to know that Broadcom
continues to be a thorn in the side of Linux users </snark>.
