I think it a fine and creditable thing that Aaron is extending a
(further) hand to Ms. Harrison if she can show up at BerkeleyLUG.  

You'll note that she says she's actually not at all certain that she can
make it with her computer to 85c Bakery, and would prefer to get help by
telephone.  If you are dissatified with the response of the Linux
community so far on the mailing list (which would mean you're unhappy
with several people who tried to help including yourself), why don't you 
volunteer to spend time on the telephone with Ms. Harrison?
