     Very possible since i have since learned that among his other 
redoubtable accomplishments
he runs Debian.  And he codes across platforms, generally small programs 
of use to experimenters
students and hardware "hackers".

     But this post was intended as I remarked previously for another 
mailing list and I am
sorry to have disturbed the sleeping giants of knowledge here.
