[sf-lug] what's better than firefox?

     I'm running firefox 52.0.2 (64 bit) and terminal I/O
is painfully slow and getting more so. Seems (from top
output) that firefox is hogging the CPU.
     Maybe there's a way to run  firefox  at a nice level
of 10 or so, and maybe there's some other browser that
is not a big CPU and RAM hog.

     Anybody got advice?
