[sf-lug] NEED INFO ABOUT BOOT SECTOR, SPACE LIMITS

Hello, Lug;

I am getting a message that there is no more space at all in my boot sector.

My computer is an Asus eee 1000 i386, etc.  I am running Ubuntu 16.04.02.

I had a Ransom Demand attack about a month ago. and since then the machine has become PROGRESSIVELY noticeably slower.  My current plan is, having backed up as fully as I can to a separate backup usb-hard-disk, to reinstall the distro.  

Suggestions welcome.
