Hi LUGers,

     Debian Linux reveals Intel Skylake and Kaby Lake processors
have broken hyper-threading!   So you spent a lot of cash on the
latest hot setup and now it is falling over?.

     There is a fix but Intel does not care to advertise.
This coding error will lead to the computer experiencing
"unpredictable system behavior."
     So read the article and help your self or pay a technician
whatever the going rate in your neighborhood is to get this
  working as it should have from from the chip fabrication
  facility.  Otherwise wait a bit and a fix from Canonical and
finally from Linux will be out so read the article.
