Hi LUGers,

     The distributions featured this month are Remix OS for 64 bit machines
and what is probably an installer for Gentoo.    I am not interested in
Remix as it seems to be an Android for x86 to be installed on top
of a 'buntu.  I don't much care for the Android approach to computing.
I don't think I have enough time this week to try out the Gentoo.

     The lead article is Clustered Samba.
     A discussion follows as to whether NFS is ready for today's network.
     Scrappy about building your own Web Crawler
     Collaboration using LibreOffice in the Cloud.
     Some interesting discussion of obscenity in the kernel.
     Gimp tricks.
     All the usual features as well including Klaus Knopper's column.

     Hope to have it at the Meeting tomorrow night and to see a few folks.
