Hi LUGers,

     Just a little update!

We have new releases of Linux Mint 18, Slackware 14.2,
betas of Open MandrivaLx3.0 & Mageia 6, and alphas of
Ubuntu 16.10. This is following the release of Fedora 24
on June 21st.
This is in addition to a equal number of less well-known
distributions.
I have gotten several of these check-summed and thankfully
due to my anti-Canonical bias I will neglect the Ubuntu alphas.

I am downloading and torrenting as fast as I can.

Check out Distrowatch and tomorrow or Monday AM the
Distrowatch weekly newsletter will be out. They recently
had a good article on the package managers and upgrade
of Version and packages.

From the current wealth I will be bringing 386 and x86_64
versions of Linux Mint 18 in the Mate flavor along to the
meeting tomorrow.

     Bobbie
