The San Francisco Linux Users Group hosts a meeting called the Linux
Discussion Group at the Noisebridge facility, which is located at 2169
Mission Street in San Francisco (37.762414, -122.419123), on Wednesday
evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. PST (Thursdays 0200-0400 UTC) in the
Turing classroom.

James Stockford, a founding member of the SF-LUG, asked me to take
over the sending out of meeting announcements, and when available to
attend, greet any new visitors that may arrive.
Lately, my sending of the messages has been the cause of great turmoil
and disruption to the lists receiving them.  It was suggested that I
change the wording, and I mistakenly used the word "club" in my effort
to direct others to the authoritative source of information.
I'm sorry for the confusion and consternation that I caused you to suffer.
Please reference the SF-LUG web page (www.sf-lug.org), or contact the
official currently listed at the bottom (jim at well.com).
Sincerely,
Joseph

  Joseph,

This isn't very clear, please provide more relevant information.
E.g. what "club" are you speaking of?
The Subject: would seem to imply "SF-LUG", but I don't think
SF-LUG is generally referred to as a "club", but rather
a LUG (Linux User Group).

So, what discussions when/where of what "club"?

And who's president of the club - whatever club you're referring to.
And what web page are you referring to?  That's quite unclear since
you give neither URL nor disambiguate of what "club" you speak.

Are you president or some officer of the "club" of which you
speak?  Or based upon what authority or information do you make
these statements?

And the web page for the mailing list you send this to has no
mention of "club".  And your email address domain doesn't even
seem to apply any particular "club" association.
I also see no mention of "club" on http://www.sf-lug.org/

Please clarify - I'm sure many would generally look at your
message and conclude: Huh?
