hey,
we had a short convo re: bash command prompt colors and their changes and
potential to change @ a meeting thus:

leave it to the arch wiki to do a kickass presentation of how to configure
your bash prompt ANY way you like.

came across this walking around the webs...

very detailed, yet easy to follow and learn by DOING...

they (and others) recommend appending end of ~/.bashrc but you can also put
them in .bash_profile to avoid any crossover in updating (apparently)
