IMHO, the least painful long-term option is to wait for Rick. I am
unclear as to how much of the hardware in the server is salvageable nor
whether he intends to reuse it. I do believe that in the event he does
not physically rebuild the same box, he would opt for low-power
hardware. There was an Israeli manufacturer whose name escapes me that
he was seriously considering the last time he inquired into the matter.
I suppose you could probably add his interim e-mail to the conversation,
