Hi LUGgers,

Well I got to the Cafe Enchante about 5:40 PM.and had no
problems with setting up my system but it would not stay that way

Shortly after 6 PM Eric showed up and eagerly read the later
copy of Linux Pro. Then Jim Stockford showed up and discussion began
to be at a higher level when Joseph Puig showed up.
It seems that restoring the mailing list is low on Rick Moen's
list of priorities according to Jim who had talked to him.
Stockford suggested setting up a mailing program on the co-location
site where the web page is hosted. That was under discussion when I
left them.

Some discussion of the potential of Android Linux ensued.
Jim is interested in extending the capabilities one way or another.

I had a slight problem with the optical drive in my notebook
and after I tried to fix it a further problem in that boot time was
extended.
Enquiries by Jim regarding the weekly meetings at Noisebridge
and at the Western Addition location were made of Joseph who was sad
to report exceedingly low attendance over the last 3 months or more.

About 8 PM we left the Cafe Enchante and Jim gave me a ride
home while he went on with Eric and Joseph.

When I got home I setup my computer and had it running again
in a few minutes.

The next meeting will be on Sunday November 2 2014 from 11 AM ro
1 P.M. at the Cafe Enchante.

I hope that the information given is largely correct but depend
for emendations and corrections by the other attendees.

	Bobbie Sellers
