[sf-lug] Myth TV advice sought.

    Hi LUGers,

        I got one of the free PC towers John Strazziano was distributing.
    I intend to make it into a personal Video Recorder to take broadcast
TV and time shift it for whatever reasons.
    I have a 3.2 Gigahertz Pentium 4 and 2 Gigabytes of ram in the box
and have acquired thru trade a 500 GiB hard drive.

    So what I need is advice as to what model of TV tuner card I might
be able to use.   I ask because there is a confusing proliferation of
these cards many of which seem to have nothing to do with broadcast
TV.
    I have 2 PCI card slots which may be used as PCI Express card slots,
one of 16x and the other of 1x.

    it will be fed by a roof top antennae and output to a 32 inch TV (which
the graphics  chip on the motherboard should be able to fill with TV).

    Oh yes I have a Mythbuntu 14.04 and Mythdora at hand for installation. 
Both are using the latest Myth TV version.

    Any advice or further questions?

    And by the way John had over twenty of machines with a similar profile
available the last I knew all at the same low cost of transfer.
