June the 1st is of course correct. Very hard to let go of a busy
May.

If I could drink coffee I would but am hypersensitive to its
stimulant effects.
I spent most of the day getting the old notebook ready to be passed
to a repair
shop where they might use the parts. Formatted the hard drive which meant I
had to pull it from the old computer, install in a case connect to the
new computer
and walk the directories with Dolphin and copy some few items to my new
computer
and to ithe backup drives. Then reverse the hardware bits after
formatting the drive.

I was also on the new machine getting the CD/DVD R/W drive to work
producing
about 4 DVDs or CDs for use by various people.
Today I pull the drive from my Inspiron 4000 and wipe all the
personal data there
and maybe extend the partition for its possible repair. Then it goes to
Goodwill whence
it sprang.
