This is a command that I would like to be run at login

xinput set-int-prop "ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad" "Device Enabled" 8 0

We put it in at the end of the .bashrc and it doesn't activate until I
open a terminal

We used it as a script in the GNOME startup, but that didn't work

we inserted it into /etc/X11/xinit/xintrc and that didn't work, either.

we inserted it into etc/rc2.d , with no avail.

How do I keep the trackpad from activating on startup????

Much thanks to the LUG group for all the help
