I have a pair of ubuntu machines one of which controls a printer.  However the second machine has stopped printing to it.  This has happened before and I solved the problem by reinstalling the printer.   However in this case when I attempted to reinstall the printer on the second box, it sees the server but does not see the printer.

Recreating the printer on the server is of no use.  After much tinkering on the server I reaized that the windows machine on the network has no problem printing, so I believe the problem is on the 2nd ubuntu machine.

Any suggestions o fhow to get samba working so I can print to accross the netwwork?

Robert

Hate destroys a man's sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true.
