[sf-lug] Ubuntu Desktop PC Freezes - possible hardware problem?

   good description of symptoms. if you're comfortable 
with using the command line, use the  dmesg  command 
and see if there are any failures listed. 
   if you're working on your machine between 6 PM and 
8 PM, use email to ask questions.
