Yeah I saw that, when we started the campaign a few people joined the
development to help with the translation and also to get identi.ca
working with all languages.. I am not sure how that is going, but people
were asking why identi.ca is not using those resources.. and they
decided to join it to help have the site multi-language.

I can ask Rafael Bonifaz from Ecuador about it, he was one of the people
who were involved with it.
