[sf-lug] DSL line dropping out...

This started last night.
I am able to connect only after resetting the DSL modem
and restarting the computer.
After about 5 minutes the connection shuts down and I
have to repeat the Modem shutdown and the computer
restart.
The following message is generator by the Network and
Internet configuration tool/
Problems occured during the network connectivity test.
This can be caused by invalid network configuration, or
problems with your modem or router.
You might want to relaunch the configuration to verify the
connection settings.
Does anyone have an idea besides buying a new DSL modem?
