i feel compelled to offer that SF-LUG's noises [and emails] are _always_ very interesting!

a bit of self-promotion:
i'll try to stay away from them tonight, but next monday i will do nothing BUT perform mangled, distorted xmas carols mixed with halloween SFX, tastefully sprinkled with spoken word recordings of doctors discussing bipolar disorder and economist Milton Friedman presenting a rarely-heard talk on 'ethics and corporate responsibility'.  

additionally, i'm trying to get local performance artiste Winston Tong to provide his dramatic reading of O Henry's "gift of the maji" as a sort of 'cherry on top' of this aural confection.  
...or final coffin nail.  take your pick.  

as the [self-appointed] Ghost of Christmas Future, i feel that i owe this poignant and timely offering to the world.
