[sf-lug] Anyone familiar with HP 9000 running version 11?

Thanks Jim!  I contacted my old friend and he gave me some good info, too. Seems this beast isn't used very much and most people don't like to mess with it.  I am reading everything I can on it.

I figure by this time next year, I should be an expert at it.

the tiny smattering of HP-UX lore i have revolves 
around the following commands: 
* swinstall (package names end with .depot) 
* swremove 
* swjob (stats on results of the two above) 
* swlist (what's installed)
