Awesome! I got a few other enthusiastic emails.

Now's a good time to get started with your reading. Recall that
http://www.greenteapress.com/thinkpython/thinkpython.html has many ways to
enjoy the book; pick your poision. Your assignment for the first class it
read Chapter 1, as well as to preferably read the book's preface. It's
like ten pages. (-:

I'm going to declare by fiat that we'll have the first Asheesh teach-in
session NOT at an SF-LUG meeting, mostly since the next SF-LUG meeting
is so far away in time. Instead, if you're interested in attending:

VISIT http://doodle.ch/dtfbz2fd47u5q3b2 AND VOTE

Tell me on that page which time(s) work for you. I know Saturday is soon,
but there's no time like the present.

WHERE: The Grind Cafe
WHEN: Undecided; see Doodle link
WHAT: Community Python learning session: Chapter 1

Later today I'll send out a scheduling email, assuming we reach consensus
on one of the Doodle dates.
