No, and I am surprised that Paul did not get your joke, because he has been
on this list and has known you for a long time.

I personally really enjoyed Rick's joke.  In fact, Rick was almost making a
joke at his own expense, because he was parodying his own self-acknowledged
haughty attitude.  See, Rick normally posts with opinions that he describes
as "IMVAO" (In My Very Arrogant Opinion) and Rick often posts long, erudite
posts on topics varying from Biblical interpretation to criminal law to deep
kernel issues.  So the whole post was a joke at his own expense about how he
is grateful that laggards are allowing him to control the world (bwaha ha ha
ha) by not voting.  So I really liked this joke.  And it served its purpose,
too, by reminding people to vote.

But, much to my chagrin, Rick, I will have to say that I did _not_ heed your
request and dropped off my absentee ballot at a local polling station.
Sorry to disappoint you.   ;-)
