No, this isn't about the election -- but rather about _Linux Journal's_
current 2008 Readers' Choice Survey, at

It's a 36-question multiple-choice survey for the 2008 Readers' Choice
Awards.  Yes, everyone knows these are just popularity and
name-recognition contests (everyone knows MySQL will win, but that
PostgreSQL is a better database), but this is also your chance to
support a local author and SF-LUG member:  I refer to the illustrious
Mark Sobell, whose excellent book _A Practical Guide to Ubuntu Linux_ is
one of the options for question #34, "What is your favorite Linux book
(released or revised in or after Jan '07)?"
