Rick, wouldn't they also have to fill out the web form after step 2 above?
(clicking on the URL).  IMHO, that is a place where newbies could easily
make mistakes.  Some of these newbies were really basic computer users, and
IMHO that could be a place where they trip up.

It would be a good idea to hold their hands during the sign up process.
