One suggestion I have... if she is looking for a financial management 
application, my wife likes KmyMoney. She evaulated several other 
financial apps before choosing that one.

Also the commands mentioned that solved your problem, I believe are in 
the Microsoft knowledge base. I haven't searched recently...
