[sf-lug] Puppy Linux

hi

It seems that it is possible to install openSUSE 10.3 over the Internet.
This instruction page is slightly above my skill level, and I am rather
sleepy right now, but if you can get enough Linux onto the machine to get a
virtual shell going, maybe it is possible to finish the job with w3m, which
is a text browser:

At any rate, the guy is going to need a new CD-rom, and he can probably pick
one up lots of different places. I am betting that we have some extra
CD-roms lying around the public middle school that this list has been
supporting with FOSS, and so if your buddy needs a CD-rom, please ping me at
einfeldt at gmail dot com, and we can make arrangements for you to see our
lab and for you or he to pick up a cd-rom.

good luck.
