Also for a good time, try:

* cowsay
* bb
* figlet
* sl (that's not a typo)

All these are available in your friendly Debian mirror (and if you're 
allergic to non-free software, toilet is like figlet only it's Free 
Software but less canonical).  From what I recall, Ubuntu broke bb, but 
its Debian version should still work.
