[sf-lug] ddclient : perl client

under Debian,
when I 
# ddclient
I get the following error message:
Use of uninitialized value in string ne at /usr/sbin/ddclient line 1828
I've looked at that line number without any revelations.
Does this warrant sending an email to the author?
