As some of you may know, the Linux Users' Group of Davis maintains a
list of upcoming events on our website. The next 10 are on our site's front
page, and the full list is available on our Calendar page:

In the past few weeks, we've added some new features to the LUGOD site that
make it easier for you to keep track of LUGOD's meetings and events -- as
well as those of other groups -- without having to come back to our site
to see what's new.

* Add to Google Calendar & Add To Yahoo! Calendar

You can now add LUGOD's regular meeting and social gatherings
to your Google Calendar or Yahoo! Calendar by simply clicking the
"Add to..." link next to the event. You'll be redirected to Google or
Yahoo!'s website where you'll have the opportunity to add the event.

* Download or Subscribe to an iCalendar

iCalendar "ICS" versions of our calendar of LUGOD and other clubs' events
are now available for download or subscription using your favorite desktop
calendar application (KDE's KOrganizer, Novell's Evolution,
  Mozilla's Sunbird, Microsoft's Outlook, Apple's iCal, etc.)

* RSS News Feeds

Finally, you can also subscribe to an RSS feed that brings you
the latest news listed on the LUGOD website's front page. (Or syndicate
it on your own website, if that makes you happy!)

Add the feed to your favorite RSS news reader (Akregator, Lifrea, Firefox,
Bloglines, etc.) or use the "Add | My Yahoo!" link to add the feed to your
  personal Yahoo! pages.

Enjoy! PS - I'm happy to share the PHP code and link trickery used to
make these things possible on the LUGOD website. (No, we're not using a CMS.
Yes, the site is hand-coded in HTML and PHP!)
