The Linux Users' Group of Davis (LUGOD) will be holding the following meeting
this month:

 Monday
 April 18, 2011
 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Presentation:

 "MythTV open source DVR"
 Wes Hardaker

MythTV is a free, open source software digital video recorder (DVR)
   project.  [ http://www.mythtv.org/ ]

The creators consider it as the ultimate Digital Video Recorder and
home media center hub (an open source alternative to
Windows Media Center or TiVo).  Along with recording and playing back
television shows, it can also manage personal photo, video and music
collections, work with a home security system, manage NetFlix movie
queues, play games, provide weather info and forecasts, and more!
It runs on both Linux and Mac OS X.

This meeting will be held at:

Yolo County Public Library, Davis Branch  (Mary L. Stephens Branch)
 Blanchard community meeting room
 315 East 14th Street
 Davis, California 95616
