With Win 11 it costs about $1200. Same hardware with Ubuntu cost less than $300. No surprise that the first time there was a lot to update after the factory install.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">A couple times I have gotten a surprising message that the computer needed to be re-started to finish the update. That is a standard "feature" of Windoz, but I'd never encountered that in all the years I have used Unix and various Linux distros.
