Hint: in many cases, by default, for more-or-less network(-ish)<br>
filesystems (e.g. NFS), it is often customary, by default, to not<br>
extend to superuser ("root") on the client, god-like (superuser)<br>
powers over the server filesystem(s) (or portions thereof) remotely<br>
so accessed. For ... reasons.<br>
