hi,

On Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 4:22 PM, Rick Moen <rick@linuxmafia.com> wrote:

I don't normally happen to use that calendar, so I don't really know if
there's a better, reasonable URL for reaching it, but I've navigated to
it, just now, as:

http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/caj9iea2ol69b7n2uqdek4ocso%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic

I am grateful for Rick Moen's BALE calendar, because it runs on Free Software. It makes me a bit nervous that so many people, including myself, have become so dependent on Google's non-Free services. Sure, their services are good and are free as in beer, and Google is a great contributor to Free Open Source Software code and activities, but it is good to have resources like Rick Moen's database so that we are not dependent on non-Free software SaaS for keeping track of Free Software activities and events.
