Hi People,
My husband Robert is moving slowly but doing much better. He is able to do
taxes for his clients; which is wonderful! You see; this is his busy season
as a tax preparer. He has a small practice. It is very good that he can
work during his busy season.
To change the subject, you all are a very good bunch of people to ask my
internet connectivity question. Actually two questions.
How can I improve my internet connectivity on my year old iPhone in my
bedroom? How can Robert again connect to the internet from his desktop
computer on his desk in his office at the other end of the house?
You need more details. Our internet service provider is AT&T. Regarding my
iPhone problem, I seem to get partial internet service. After all I am
typing this message on my iPhone and hopefully Rick and the rest of you
will eventually get it. So Gmail works to an extent. But when I click on
secondary links, they time out. YouTube works. But again when I click on
secondary links they time out. This doesn’t happen all the time. It happens
intermittently. It is happening now.
I thought I might turn off and then right back on the router or whatever
you call it under the desk in Saul’s old studio. Saul is my stepson who
grew up and moved out to go to college in Ohio.
This is after we got the new router which Rick helped us with.
Robert asked me to go to his office area and see if I can access the
internet from his employee’s desktop before I turn off and on the router.
Also some local computer service company came and set up a network for
Robert’s office that I think piggybacks off our home setup.
There is a half working electrical system here. And it is old. And only
maybe 1/2 the electrical outlets work. So we have lots of extension cords
here.
To call in the computer service company is, I believe, expensive. Robert
and I don’t make a lot of money. Yes, Robert should charge more to do
taxes. But he does not.

I appreciate anything you can do to help.
The school is closed this week. So I am not substitute teaching this week.
But I am working 20 hours at the market this week. I am working 4:30 pm to
8:30 pm today.
Tomorrow and the next day, no market but dental cleaning.
Tomorrow and the next day I will be at the Foothill College dental clinic
getting my teeth cleaned. Partially cleaned. There will need me to come
back 2 more times. But I think it is free. 9 am to noon. And Robert has
doctor visits I need to drive him to because he is not supposed to drive
for 6 months because of his recent heart afib incident. About one month ago.

Thanks again!
