Robert is back home and snoring away.
I checked him out of El Camino Hospital in Mountain View last night.
He rejected being wheeled out to the car in a wheel chair. So we walked
out. And he walked out much faster than I expected. But still slower than I
walk. And usually he walks faster than I do. Even though he only has 1/2
his toes from prior blue toes syndrome.
So Robert didn’t get much sleep in the hospital. I hear that most people
don’t get much sleep in the hospital.
He says he read over his discharge papers. I will read them too.
Last night I helped him to empty his small drainage bottle that is attached
to a tube that goes into his abdomen. Red liquid drains out into the small
bottle. One has to reattach it squeezed. So there is a vacuum. To draw out
the fluid.
Robert had his gallbladder removed a few days ago. The gallbladder was in
very bad shape.
Thank you for being our friends,
Elise Scher
