That's mainly a social and economical problem rather than a 
technological one.

They have to sell you something and currently they are selling you hype.
Hype in the form of firing programmers for example.

The economy is full of bullshit jobs, jobs whose purpose is power 
management.

This meeting could have been a Team meeting that could have been some IM 
messages that could have been an email that could have been an email 
written by AI... that probably shouldn't have been needed in the first 
place.

This customer care phone line could have been a chat boot that could 
have been a better trained customer care technician that could have been 
a better service or a better product.

LLM produces a LOT of slop.

Renewable energy is on the rise but you can't have a choke point with 
renewables. So the usual suspects, rentiers, the one boosting "passive 
income" are pushing back.
But somehow we can and we will consume more energy even reducing the 
impact on resources and environment.
