They're checking if the connecting IP has an MX or IP (or worst option, 
a host) entry in the SPF.

They don't check headers for all Received-From entries, else sending 
email from a laptop in a coffee shop, etc. would be nigh impossible.


It sounds like the final destination rejecting email is not due to where 
it originates (speculation). It's probably entirely beyond your control.


However, may be worth reconsidering the whole

 > sender_dependent_relayhost_map and smtp_sasl_password_maps

bit, that sounds unnecessarily complicated.


Plus, it seems the only reason for such a setup is to use multiple email 
providers / VPSs.  Why?

If deliverability problems persist, look there first.
