Today is California's deadline for _regular_ registration 
in advances of the Nov. 5th, 2024 general election.  You (Californians) 
should check your registration NOW.  If you are not shown as registered,
you can correct that today.

The state's deadline is 15 days prior to any election.  (You would, at
this point, not be able to be mailed a ballot, but could vote at any
county voting centre.)

Day-of-election registration is also possible, but reportedly a bit more
involved.
