>> Table 3 shows the types of health conditions and contributing

I ran across this post/graph recently - looks pretty dang clear:
https://www.reddit.com/r/dataisbeautiful/comments/ioixf3/oc_my_friend_believes_that_covid19_is_overhyped/

There's also basic numbers, like just this year, COVID-19 has killed
well in excess of 1 in 2,000 in the US.

https://www.census.gov/popclock/
330267967
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/
175866
$ echo '175866/330267967*100;330267967/175866' | bc -l
.05324948755929454000
1877.95234439857618868911
$
So, more than 1 per 1,877,
more than 0.05% ... and the year isn't even over yet.

Let's see ...
Gulf War - US fatalities: 146
Iraq War - US fatalities: 4,507
Vietnam War - US fatalities: 58,318
World War I - US fatalities: 117,466
COVID-19 - US fatalities: 175,866 (>3x Vietnam War, more than WWI)
US Civil War - US fatalities: 365,000
World War II - US fatalities: 419,400
