Maybe we will. Hope they don't just end up connected to one big company, 
though (like many popular devices) Voice recognition systems are 
proprietary lock-in risks these days...just like they used to say about 
video codecs.  Upcoming talk that looks interesting.

I'm not really into talking to computers, but maybe voice is a curb cut 
effect technology...something that makes a big difference to people who 
really need it, but is also a help to lots more people (
