Summary: Zoom's videoconferencing system is riddled with both
deliberate and accidental privacy/security failings, and the encryption
features, upon technical testing using Wireshark, turn out to be
dramatically weaker than the company's dishonest promotional materials
claim.

Also, despite being headquartered in Silicon Valley, the firm does
basically not only all development at three companies in China but also
routes a lot of the crypto handling even for US-based videoconferences
through Zoom servers hosted in China.

So, bottom line: The firm's alleged security is bogus, and you should
assume anything you say or do on Zoom videoconferencing is seen by not
only spook agencies but possibly also by your corner bookie.
