Finally some positive news.
BTW, if you wish to see Thomas Edison's Menlo Park, you need to go to the Henry Ford Museum near Detroit. Many of the buildings were disassembled board by board, moved and re-assembled. Now visitors can go inside the actual buildings, including a boarding house where some of the worker lived. Nearby is a bicycle shop from Dayton, Ohio and also buildings from Santa Rosa that were used by Burbank. If you go, I recommend 2 days. More at https://www.thehenryford.org/

The original redwood arch entrance to Menlo Park, California erected by
a pair of Irish immigrants as the entrance to their 1,700 acre farm
stood from 1855 until it was accidentally destroyed by an automobile in
1922. But this famous landmark, whose inscription 'Menlo Park'
for their native village near Galway gave the California town its name,
has just been reconstructed from scratch.

Thomas Edison's Menlo Park in northern New Jersey was named for the
California town, which was incorporated in 1874, long before Edison
founded his famous lab.
