As I've said before:  We essay co-authors make it so only the truly
oblivious and/or dim cannot figure out in time that we're not a helpdesk
for the untold thousands of technical projects that hyperlink to the
essay from their help/support Web pages.  And the good news is that that
works:  99.9% of people correctly understand this.  

There are just many of those projects, and a very large number of
Internet users, so the residual 0.1% is a non-trivial number of very
confused people, where the basic situations filters for obliviousness
and/or dimness (because the others don't make that mistake).

Eric and I get a slow drizzle of these mails pretty much all the time.
