You were missed.

The key question is of course: What changed?

Upon your next visit, the obvious first step is to to smoke-test
connectivity of your laptop to the CABAL wireless network, which is very
non-challenging, being unencrypted (and left running only during CABAL
events for that reason). If that is not successful, then perhaps we do
fundamental diagnosis, _and_ we make sure you leave with a thoroughly
debugged recipe for getting wireless (generically) going with that
hardware and software. (One of the worst things many LUGs do is solve
attendees problems but fail to make sure the attendee understands what
they did.)

For the sake of completeness, I'll mention that, logically, connecting
to a _specific_ wireless network may pose idiosyncratic challenges.
E.g., it's not 100% guaranteed that what changed was on your end, right?
Just sayin'.

FYI: It's generally a bad idea on mailing lists to hijack a thread on a
different subject, especially without even changing the Subject header..
Accordingly, I've adjusted the Subject header to match your concerns.
(Don't feel bad about this. It's a matter of online culture, which has
lots of interesting corner cases and traditions, like any other
culture. FWIW, it's better to simply start a new thread. Thanks.)

We'll hope to catch you in June!
