[conspire] museum in Palo Alto

Too many activities this weekend.  I won't be at the next CABAL, so I pass on a recent discovery.

The Museum of American Heritage, moah.org.   It's on Homer in Palo Alto.  The kitchen originally belonged to Ruth Bell Lane.  If you connect her name to a well-known life-style publication, you would be correct.  The Lane family owned Sunset Magazine for many years.
KQED radio had a spot on "Repair Cafe".  Volunteers meet at MOAH 4 times a year.  People bring everything from tables to toasters that need fixing.
