[conspire] Fwd: Equifax data theft - this is a big deal

Really briefly, security expert Brian Krebs has written yet another
truly essential article about the security breach.

https://krebsonsecurity.com/2015/06/how-i-learned-to-stop-worrying-and-embrace-the-security-freeze/

He makes a good argument that he, you, I, etc. should immediately and
permanently go for a credit freeze at each of the CRAs, and outlined how
that works and what the exact consequences are. Because this can only
get worse, and the veritable cat is out of the bag. Credit monitoring,
especially free 1-year credit monitoring that the crooks can expect to
near-uniformly expire around September 2018, is utterly useless in the
long term. It also addresses, even in theory, only crooks taking out
_new_ credit in your name. It does nothing about crooks abusing the
stolen data to take over or modify your existing credit.

Krebs cites _four_ (not the usual three) CRAs: Equifax, Experian,
Innovis, and Trans Union. (Innovis is not generally listed among the
CRAs. I'm not sure what that's about.)
