[conspire] "Nana" in hospice care

Some of you may remember from the days when we had user group meetings at
the CoffeeNet in San Francisco that from time to time an older woman who
called herself Nana would drop by.

If you don't have a clear recollection of who I'm referring to, here's a
photo from last year:

I regret to say that Nana is currently in hospice care at Laguna Honda
Hospital, for terminal cancer. The prognosis is that she has several weeks
left, perhaps 8 weeks at the outside.

I visited Nana yesterday. If any of you would like to see her, please
contact me off-list for details.

At Nana's request, Carol Queen is planning a remembrance service in San
Francisco. If any of you have particular stories about her that you would
like to share (Nana was involved with a lot of different groups over the
years), I can put you in touch. I can post details about the time and date
once I have them.
